The exhibition took place from January 29 through February 2, 2018 in Dubai, UAE.
Not only was it our first participation in Arab Health, but we were able to introduce our products to the audiences that hadn’t been familiar with them at all prior to the event.
Magnetic therapy as a means of medical treatment is not currently popular in Arabic countries, but has a great potential because innovative approach is very typical of healthcare world in those countries. That is why people are very open to new and alternative methods of treatment.
Our presentation on PEMF attracted a great deal of attention. People who’d seen it during the first day of the exhibition would spread the word among their colleagues and friends, so we had visitors asking us to repeat it, which we gladly did. By the way, Elamed devices for home use were as popular as those intended for hospital environment.
Many people opted for a test procedure, Diamag being everyone’s favorite. Rehabilitation after stroke was pointed out as the most relevant indication in the device’s description.
Easyton tonometers were also much talked about and gained a lot of interest from potential distributor s. The device’s design and working principles are revolutionary in many ways, that’s probably the reason why we always get immediate positive feedback on Easyton. Distributors made inquiries and asked many questions in order to discuss the acquired information with ophthalmologists later on. Elamed team was happy to educate and share our experience. As a result, we got in touch with several companies from Saudi Arabia, Iran and India that are willing to continue negotiations and begin to distribute our products.
Magnetic therapy still has a long way to go in Arabic countries, but given the results of our first exhibition in the region, we are very enthusiastic about conquering this new segment of the world market.
